International Transcript Information

For international students, it’s preferred that transcripts are either a U.S. transcript that already meets the program requirements or have been reviewed by an approved Third-Party Evaluation agency.

If a U.S. transcript or third-party evaluation are not available, then we can review international transcripts for admission. However, a third-party transcript evaluation may be requested in cases where we are unable to validate the international transcript.

International Transcript Evaluation by IWU

What documents are necessary to evaluate international transcripts?

  • Unofficial or Official Transcript in Original Language
  • Unofficial or Official Transcript with an authorized English translation
  • College Diploma

What documents are needed for International High School Transcripts/Diplomas?

  • No additional documents needed for high school diploma evaluation
  • English language version if the transcript/diploma is not already in English.

Third-Party Evaluation Services

Students who provide an international transcript evaluation by an approved outside agency do not need to submit an official transcript for admissions. There are many third-party services students may choose from that are either AICE or NACES members based on the list below.

If you are unsure if your preferred provider is an approved agency, contact your enrollment counselor.
